Imperial Domain

Hailing from Uppsala, Sweden, this melodic death metal band burst onto the scene in the mid-90s. Their debut demo "The Final Chapter" in 1995 showcased their immense potential, while their sophomore demotape "In the Ashes of the Fallen" gained recognition on the 1996 Top Swedish demotapes list. Securing a deal with Pulverised Records, their debut album in 1998 received rave reviews and solid sales, establishing their presence in the music industry.

In 2003, Imperial Domain released their second album “The Ordeal” through Konqueror Records.

The album highlighted a more refined and complex approach to songwriting, blending intricate arrangements with the band’s signature melodic intensity.

Despite disbanding in 2004, their unwavering passion for creating music brought them back together. In 2014, they faced a tragic loss with the passing of their talented singer Tobias Heideman, but they persevered and triumphantly released the album "The Deluge" in 2016.

The album was met with highly positive reviews from the metal press and quickly gained recognition within the melodic death metal community for its powerful songwriting and authentic sound.

Now, they are excited to unleash their latest masterpiece "Portentum" upon the world. Each track possesses its own distinct atmosphere, yet together they form a cohesive whole, a testament to their unwavering dedication and boundless creativity.
